Day 2: Still doing well.

Was late for work cause Brian insisted on making me my diet breakfast: eggs and two pieces of turkey bacon. I took it to go cause I was running late but how sweet! It was so good too.. then I got to work and someone irritated me right off the bat. IDK what is going on but it really irritates me.

For lunch, I had another roast beef and turkey lettuce wrap with CHEESE this time. Much better job of filling me up today than yesterday.

Came home and was pretty hungry. Had my skirt steak with fauxtatoes (steamed and mashed cauliflower with cheese and butter)...I scarfed it down.

I am taking my meds and only feel a tiny bit jittery in the afternoon time. I have had no trouble sleeping at all, which was something I was worried about.

One of the meds I am on is an appetite suppressant which doesn't seem to be totally working yet? lol

One thing I have noticed though is that it is NOT affecting my blood sugar in a negative way...so yay to that!

I hope to see some results from this...

Meanwhile I am playing Sims 4 and chatting with my homey. :) TTFN

Renewed Purpose

Things have been kind of crazy for me over the past year. Lots of medical doctors and tests and weight gained and lost and gained more and yet more tests. I am poked and prodded and it is getting old.

The only thing that has been steadily positive is my blood sugar. My A1C is 6 and that is great!

So I changed doctors who changed my meds and I do feel better but there are so many other factors that are going on that they are still trying to get to the bottom of..

I am now on iron infusion therapy cause I am severely anemic and my body would not absorb the iron pills.

I also started Dr. G's today. A weight loss program that my company has as a client, I got it as a bonus kind of thing as in FREE. So I thought, why not give it a shot.

Today was my official start date.

Breakfast: I had cinnamon cottage cheese with almonds for breakfast and I forgot my celery sticks.  I won't tomorrow!!

Lunch: Turkey and Roast beef lettuce wrap... was delicious but I forgot the cheese...

Dinner will be chicken breast with cauliflower butter, and cheese. (aka fauxtatoes which is a great substitute for potatoes and a nice low carb option)

I really hope I see results. So far today I am only mildy hungry right now.

I will try to post an update here to keep track of my progress since I don't really use this for anything else.
