I have nothing to say.
So I have no real topic to discuss but I did find a blog that I found hilarious and must share it! Hyperbole and a Half is just plain awesomeness. My son thought I was retarded mentally imbalanced from the laughter that I emitted from reading it. I hope you also enjoy it.
Oh... I did make this drawing of one of my fears/paranoia. I made it for a very serious forum. It is very true that I have a bubble around me. People are always trying to get within it's protective walls and I scream in horror inside. Enjoy.

That is all.

Moving sucks but the rewards are sweet.
Well, our 4th of July weekend was spent moving ourselves into the new house. You never realize how much CRAP you have until you move. Poor Brian had to move everything pretty much by himself but Nick and Chris did help some. I helped too! :)
We are SO loving our new place! The dogs have really adjusted well. This house has a doggie door and I was worried that they wouldn't take to it but they HAVE. Which is GREAT. All of them go in and out and use the bathroom OUTSIDE and we don't have to worry about accidents, which rocks!
It is nice to come home and know that the only thing that we have to worry about is where we are going to hang things. We still have a ways to go with the getting settled but we are so THRILLED!
Well time to go pick up Chris from camp!! He has been gone all week so we are excited to see how much fun he had!

RIP Bun-Bun Hopper
On Friday night, my son Nicholas lost his beloved rabbit, Bun-Bun. He had lived with us for over four years. We got him as an adult rabbit and was told he was 1 year old but we don't know that for sure. He was at least 5. He was the sweetest most lovable bunny ever. He would perk up when I would call his name cause he knew I was about to give him a treat. When we let him walk around the hallway, he would follow me. He was also a ninja. We had a little pen for him to get his daily exercise and he would also jump out of it... but never when we were watching. He had a mansion. He was well loved and cared for... spoiled really.
A year ago, Nicholas noticed he had a growth on his neck so we rushed him to the vet and turns out it was an abscess and was common for rabbits. But good thing that Nick took such good care of him cause if it had burst, he would have died back then most horribly.
Bun-Bun died in Nicholas' arms. It was the most heart-wrenching thing to watch as my son grieved. We were both a bundle of tears. :( Since we are moving, we didn't want to bury him in our pet cemetery we have in the back of our property. I immediately started looking up cremation places in our area. We managed to find one not far from here and called their 24/7 line. Brian thought it was going to be so expensive. This place would pick up Bun-Bun and cremate him, and deliver a ceramic urn. All included for $100. I thought that was a pretty good deal. They said they videotape all cremations in case we EVER wonder if we really got our rabbit. So they came and got Bun-Bun yesterday and we will get him back on Monday or Tuesday.
Nicholas left for camp last night. We got to the church and it was so hot! I was melting. We had to stand in a line outside and it was oppressive. But once we got his luggage squared away and signed in and he got his wristband... He hooked up with a friend he made the very first year that he went to camp. He has been every year since fifth grade and now he is going to be a junior! Every year this friend and he hook up and sit together on the bus ride. The high schoolers go to the beach in Florida. It was great to see his friend find him and they did the man hug and shake. LOL Well, they are still traveling, he already text me this morning saying they are in Mississippi. I am so glad he can have this experience every year. I hope where they are is far enough east they won't have the tar balls they are finding in Pensacola from the oil spill.
Anyway... time for church online!

Nine years! Woohoo!
So Brian and I made it to 9 fabulous years of marriage! It sure did fly by. I guess that is a good thing, right? Since we both had to work, we just went to dinner and decided on Tokyo One. All you can eat sushi and Japanese food bar. Brian approved and said the food there was pretty authentic to what he remembers when he lived in Okinawa. I was gobbling up the sushi at a rapid rate. SOOoo good. We were so stuffed when we were done. ;D And to think I was told I was just temporary. I do love my husband and feel really blessed to have him in my life.Well, I have been gathering boxes from work and this weekend we start the packing. I cannot WAIT!!! I am super excited about moving. We were able to get some pics of the house. Here are a few of them:

Various veiws of the house right now. It looks way smaller in the pics than it really is but since it is just us four now, it's perfect.Nicholas leaves for camp this weekend. It is really great that his dad can help him get to go to camp for the past four years or so. Maybe it's five years now... I cannot believe he is going to be sixteen this summer!
Well that is all for now. :) My weekend starts now. Woohoo!

We are moving.
Well, it came to the point that Brian and I said enough! This house I bought has become a money pit. It was starting to eat at our souls. We would come home and be worn out by the things needed to fix the place up. It was depressing to say the least. We bought the house and started remodeling piece by piece so there is still lots to do and we know we won't get a lot for it but we just cannot afford to stay here. We talked with our realtor and broker about our situation and they agreed it was time to get out and move on to bigger, better things. It is kind of sad for me cause this is my home but at the same time, I know that in a year or so we will be able to buy another house or build my dream house. So, in the mean time, we will rent and lick our wounds.
We managed to find a perfect rental house in the neighborhood we originally wanted to move into. We have friends there and the boys have friends there. Plus they have a pool and a fitness center. That is a huge plus. We are very familiar with the area and the boy won't have to change schools. We went to see the house yesterday and we immediately fell in love with it. The landlord still lives in it but is moving out mid-June. So we won't be moving until July. It has a study which we will make into the guest bedroom and a formal dining which will be my office area. Huge kitchen with a breakfast area that will fit our huge table perfectly. It has a fireplace with a remote, which is hilarious to me. The kids will have a "retreat" in between their bedrooms that we will make into their gameroom. So all that stuff will be out of the way. 2 car garage is a huge plus too. Fenced backyard and a doggie door on the back door which is perfect for our dogs. And yes dogs are allowed which is awesome. The yard is kinda small but that is ok. We got seriously tired of mowing an acre. It is a bummer that we have to rent again but I am feeling positive about it all. We meet with them end of next week to give them the deposit.
Tuesday we will talk with our realtor and broker about the selling of our house. We will ask the guy that owns the property behind us first cause he has been trying to sell that property for years. Adding another acre and a house to it would help him, I think. He also already expressed an interest in the property before... so we shall see what he wants to offer. I am nervous about the selling of the house because it does need a lot of work.
So please pray for us as we are taking another major step.

iPhone happiness
So yesterday, after work, we took Christopher to get his new cell phone for his birthday. He was so surprised and excited! He picked out the phone he wanted and we got a great deal on it. So now he is added to our network. I also got family locator on it which has a cool iPhone app that allows me to see exactly where both my boys are, which is a great thing for a mom! It will be so nice to be able to get a hold of both my boys when I need to because Chris has a tendency to go to a friends house without telling us first. So we have had to go through a list of phone numbers to locate him. Now I can just call him and/or pull up the locator then promptly ground him. :D
Anyway, while we were there, I upgraded my iPhone to a new iPhone 3Gs! A white one, which I didn't know they had! It's so cute! Haha! Brian is getting my old one since he was using my other old one that got wet and it was starting to die finally. So last night and today we have been syncing up and stuff. I didn't realize how much STUFF I had on my phone! So it is taking quite a bit of time.
So the weekend is starting out well. Chris wants to go to IT'z for his birthday with his best friend since most of his friends could not come to a birthday party because they all play baseball or had something else was going on. :( So we might be doing that later or a movie... probably a sleepover will be involved. Tomorrow is church and LOST FINALE!!! We were also going to go to Annie Auditions but I don't think that we can make that commitment this time around.
Last week, I went to an orientation meeting for Child Advocates, Inc. It is something that I have always wanted to do and finally I am doing it. In June, I will have a week of training and then I can start helping children. If you don't know about Child Advocates and want to help, you can find your local branch, as they are all over the place now. Usually called CAJA or CASA. I am so excited!

Church LIVE
I absolutely love my church! Fellowship of the Woodlands. Not too long ago they started a new service, LIVE ONLINE ... Since we woke up late, and possibly going to the 6PM service, I decided to check it out. AMAZING.
You can check it out too if you are so inclined. :) http://live.woodlandschurch.tv/

Cupcake Extravaganza and more...
So April and May had a lot of birthdays in my work world. I have found myself baking a lot these past few weeks, with hubby of course being my sous chef sorta. He calls himself that. Last week I made a Lemon Raspberry cake from scratch and oh my goodness, it was so good. I never had tried anything like that before and well, I have pics but they are on my Facebook. I guess I will add them later cause I am too tired to hook up my iPhone to get them off of there. Then I made a homemade Coconut Rum cake with real yummy RUM... and tonight it's my famous White Chocolate cake in cupcake form...Don't worry, there will be no CCC. No tonight will be white chocolate butter cream icing in a swirly and spiky fashion. I might even add a dash of sprinkles. A DASH not a whole covering. Some people go overboard, see Cake Wrecks. One of my most fave blogs to visit daily.
Anyway, while I love to bake and love to see people eat it and enjoy it and tell me I should open a bakery.. HA HA HA... I am TIRED!!!! You see what time it is, right? Yea. LATE. AGAIN. It does make my heart happy though...
Tomorrow, err, today is HAPPY HOUR... And I am SO going to that. Gotta get my drink on and celebrate a slight vacation from baking cakes.. OH wait. I have a son who has a birthday on Saturday... CRAP! OH yea, birthday celebration will be on the FOLLOWING weekend instead of actual birthday. WHEW cause mama needs a break! He keeps giving me requests for certain kinds of cakes. I think I ruined it when I made him that kick-ass pirate ship cake. THAT WAS FUN. I had never done anything so elaborate before. Anyway, he has a passion for cooking, that boy watches Food Network more than I do. :) I will never forget the first time I came home from work and he was watching Paula Dean stuffing a chicken with a can of beer. He likes to get cook books at the bookstore. I encourage it though. He even made his own recipe, with my help, for an Eggplant dish that is well.. delicious!
So now that I have yammered on forever... I guess I have to go frost those cupcakes now...

Wow!
I have one reader! That is amazing! LOL Thanks Deanna! :)
This is my new laptop. ASUS G73Jh. It is very sleek looking, apparently modeled after the F117 stealth fighter, which happens to be the reason Brian joined the Air Force. lol So I guess it was meant to be!? :)
So I got a new laptop yesterday. Our old one died a most untimely death and I told my husband I wanted one. So for Mother's Day, I got to pick one out. I was going to go for a lowly i3 or something but ended up getting a super duper i7. I was looking at a Sony cause my brother swears by them. I ended up getting an ASUS. Now I thought ASUS was sucky probably because of those netbooks. But the more I learned about them, the more I found they are pretty freakin' awesome. Turns out that they make a lot of the components for other PCs. So then I remembered when I built my last PC that I used an ASUS motherboard. So I ended up getting the ASUS. It was an all around better computer on paper.

It is so fast, faster than my current desktop. It has a huge HD screen, which is great for my graphics and web design. It is an i7-720 with 6GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, though I now know I can upgrade that to a 1TB. It has ATI 1GB dedicated graphics card so I can play my games with no worries as well as have a few Adobe products open. :) I can already see the difference. OH.. and one thing I love, it doesn't pre-load all that CRAP like HP and Sony and the others load on it. I can just run it and the only stupid crap I have to worry about being on here is the stuff I put on it. :) So, needless to say, I am a happy mom for mother's day this year.
OH and to top it all off, I got a yummy edible fruit bouquet with balloons and a bear from my boys. It was sitting on my desk at work yesterday. :) I feel super blessed to be the mom of these two guys. My boys rock!!! Hope all you mothers out there that happen to glance at my page, well have a WONDERFUL mother's day! :)
Dear Blog,
I am so sorry that I have neglected you. I have had a lot going on but every time I came to you to talk about it, I felt it was just boring and unnecessary to share. I know, it was selfish of me to keep you out but life got in the way. I will try to make it up to you. I am pretty sure that I have no readers anyway... but just for you, I will try.
